Job descriptionHelicentre Aviation has a vacancy for an experienced Line Pilot
You will be required to undertake flying duties in accordance with Part-CAT and Part-SPO operations providing aerial surveying (predominantly pipeline survey) for a number of utility customers. At the discretion of the company, the role may include other types of flying (including training and testing, if appropriately qualified).
Minimum Requirements for Applicants
Ideal candidates will have:
EASA CPL(H) or ATPL(H)
EASA Class 1 Medical without OML
1,500 Hours Total Time on Helicopters
UK Flying Experience
Robinson R44 Type Rating
Cabri G2 Type Rating (training can be provided if not held)
Full UK/European Driving Licence
Right to work in the UK
As a self-improver, you should have already gained a minimum of 1,500 hours total flying time of which at least 1,000 hours will have been PIC, onshore, under VMC with significant low-level experience. You must also possess the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to team members while carrying out other tasks, as well as the ability and flexibility to work at other locations if required. You will need to demostrate values and competencies as well as the ability to be a good team player.
Additional qualifications which would be advantageous to the role include FI(H), FE(H) and TRE(H) certificates. In line with the company’s future development plans, candidates who hold a valid IR(H) Multi-Engine Type Rating and FI(H) with IRI(H) privileges would be encouraged to apply, as opportunities for promotion may become available after a period of time.
Working days would generally be Monday to Friday in line with the company’s approved Flight Time Limitation (FTL) scheme, however, you may be required to work the occasional weekend at the discretion of the company.
